Policy Maximum
|
Based on the plan chosen the maximum amount covered per incident is either
$250,000 or $300,000. |

Deductible
|
- US $50 - if treated in PPO network in US or outside US
- US $150 - if treated outside PPO network in US
- Waived off - if treatment is first sought at the Student Health Center
- Cannot be more than $250 per insured person per program year

Co-insurance
|
- In PPO network in the US and Outside the U.S.:
The plan pays 80% of eligible expenses after a max deductible of $25,000, after which it pays 100% up to the Overall Maximum Limit.
- In USA, Out of PPO network:
After the deductible is covered, the plan pays 70% of the eligible expenses.

Eligibility
|
- An American student, below the age of 66, who is registered in an American school, college or university and is pursuing academics outside of the US
- A foreign student under the age of 66, holding a valid US study visa, and enrolled in an academic endeavor in a registered US school or college/university.
- The spouse and children, aged 18 and under, of the above mentioned students can also be enrolled in the plan either initially or after entering the country, after marriage, legal adoption or within a month after birth.

Coverage

Includes the cost for -
- Diagnosis, treatment and surgery, if required, by a physician
- Anesthetics purchase and administration
- Lab tests and x-rays related
- Hospital room and boarding, as well as floor nursing and other medical related exoenses
- Prescription drugs and medication
- Physiotherapy, if recommended by a physician, by a licensed physiotherapist.
- Accident related dental treatment upto $250 per tooth and a max of $1,000 per injury
- Chiropractor related expenses - $35 per session not to exceed 3 per week with a max of $1,000 per year.
- Therapeutic pregnancy termination, max $500
